Love the way the bearings feel, I'm using them on rollerskates. Perfect for what I need. These bearings roll very smooth.
The Bont Pro 627 roller skate bearing is designed for compatible 7 mm axle setups. It uses a nylon cage, seven high-grade steel balls, ZZ shields, and GCr15 bearing steel for consistent performance.
Both sides use the same rubber ZZ shield. A thin steel sheet sits inside the rubber shield, and the shields are removable for suitable cleaning and maintenance. The nylon cage keeps the seven balls evenly spaced as the bearing rotates.
The 627 bearing measures 7 x 22 x 7 mm. The 7 mm bore is for compatible 7 mm axles and will not fit an 8 mm axle. Each pack contains 16 bearings, enough for a standard eight-wheel roller skate setup. Spacers are not included.
The outer ring normally goes through rough grinding, fine grinding, and honing. These are mechanical operations that remove material by grinding, without additives. There is no separate polishing process. The manufacturer states that light oil is used.
After cleaning, allow the bearings to dry fully before applying suitable lubricant and refitting the shields. Seat the bearings squarely and check that every wheel rolls freely.
Pack of 16 pieces.
Spacers are not included.
